East, Central and South Auckland, and we're based in Beachlands. That covers Maraetai, Whitford, Clevedon, Howick, Pakuranga, Botany and the rest of East Auckland, plus Central and South Auckland suburbs. Give us a shout if you're on the North Shore, we can usually make it work.
How much does house washing cost in Auckland?
Honestly, it depends on the size of the house, its condition, and what you want included, like a roof or gutter clean alongside the wash. The best way to know for sure is a quick quote based on your actual property, not a guess off the top of our heads.
How often should I get my house washed in Auckland?
Most Auckland homes only need a wash once a year. Coastal properties, including Beachlands and the rest of the East Auckland coastline, pick up salt, grime and mould faster, so they often need it more than once.
What's the difference between soft washing and waterblasting or pressure washing?
Soft washing uses low pressure and the right detergent, so it cleans without damaging paint, weatherboard or roof coatings. Waterblasting uses more pressure and is better suited to tougher surfaces like concrete and driveways. We pick whichever's right for the surface. Not everything gets treated the same.
Will waterblasting or roof treatments damage my roof?
Not when it's done properly. We use low pressure plus a treatment spray to shift moss and lichen, rather than blasting the roof at high pressure, which is what actually damages a lot of Auckland roofs in the first place.
How often should solar panels be cleaned, and does it actually make a difference?
Dust, pollen and salt film build up on panels over time, and it can genuinely cut down how much power they generate, especially this close to the coast. Most panels are fine with a clean every six to twelve months. More often if you've got trees hanging over the roof.
Do you offer regular or contract cleaning for commercial properties?
We're happy to quote a one-off commercial job, or set up a regular schedule if that suits the property better. Your call.
Do you clean gutters?
Yes, we can. It's not automatically part of a house wash or roof clean, but it's easy to add on, just mention it when you get a quote and we'll sort it for the same visit.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured. We're also members of ECIA, the Exterior Cleaning Industry Association.
Do I need to be home during the clean, and how long does it take?
No, not as long as we can get to what needs cleaning, water access included, and any gates aren't locked. Most residential jobs take a few hours, depending on the size of the place and what's on the list.
